Objectives for the week of March 21st!

This Week’s Objectives:

Reading: Students will question what they know and think about their logic and thinking as we explore bullying. We will be discussing bullying and researchable questions. The students will be reading fiction and nonfiction on bullying as they develop their opinions and form their research outlines for next week.

Science:  Students will examine properties of soils including color and texture, capacity to retain water, and ability to support the growth of plants.

Social Studies:  Students will begin to investigate the causes of the Texas Revolution.

Writing: In writing we will complete our expository papers. The students will show that with their topic, they need to choose 3 main ideas, they will have to explain and support their ideas as well.

Math: Students will interpret and create bar graphs as well as determine all possible combinations in a problem situation.
